VibraLife is seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to join our team. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs and activities to meet the psychosocial needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing programs and activities for residents.
- Conduct activities for residents in one-on-one and group settings.
- Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to operate audio-visual equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a long-term care facility.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to motivate people and be sensitive to their needs.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
