About the Role

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Installation Foreman to lead our project crews and ensure the successful completion of our commercial HVAC and refrigeration installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring our technicians, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and communicating effectively with our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and train project crews to ensure efficient and accurate installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate effectively with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
  • Monitor and control job costs to ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including PPE and vehicle safety
  • Oversee the work of apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related industry/trade
  • Commercial HVAC Foreman experience required
  • Ability to travel and work nights as needed
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours
  • Ability to organize tasks and use good judgment in making work assignments
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and compliance with Safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and track record of punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word processing, and project planning software

We offer a competitive pay rate of $35.00-$60.00 an hour, DOE, and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
