Fundraising Strategist

This is a key role in Anera's development team, responsible for cultivating and soliciting major gifts from individual donors, foundations, and corporations in support of Anera's mission.

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for major gift fundraising, including identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gift prospects.
• Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporations to secure significant funding for Anera's programs and services.
• Collaborate with Anera's programs team to identify opportunities for major gift support and develop proposals to secure funding.
• Provide regular reports to the Senior Director for Philanthropy on major gift activity, including progress toward goals and suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure accurate and timely acknowledgement of all gifts from major donors, foundations, and corporations.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a major gifts or planned giving role.
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts from individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve fundraising goals.
