Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Doctors Care/UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and assist with paperwork, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Manage the sign-in sheet and ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Enter charges into the system and collect co-payments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the front office team

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Medical terminology knowledge and computer skills
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends, with flexibility to work at other centers as needed
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a patient services representative position
