Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Doctors Care/UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with paperwork, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Manage the sign-in sheet and ensure a smooth patient flow
- Enter charges into the system and collect co-payments as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the front office team
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Medical terminology knowledge and computer skills
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends, with flexibility to work at other centers as needed
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a patient services representative position
