Chief Nursing Officer

Little River Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing services department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing service organization plans to ensure effective delivery of patient care
  • Ensure compliance with South Carolina Board of Nursing licensure and labor requirements
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the nursing services department
  • Coordinate program planning, policymaking, and development of standards and nursing procedures
  • Participate in the formulation of agency goals, policies, and procedures
  • Provide direction to nursing supervisors to ensure progressive development and productive performance
  • Oversee and evaluate all nursing sites, clinical programs, and radiology department staff and services
  • Prepare and administer departmental and programmatic budgets and grants
  • Acquire and allocate human and material resources for departmental operation
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • 2+ years of experience in leadership/management position in nursing
  • Current licensure by South Carolina State Board of Nursing
  • Prefer 2 years of community nursing experience
