The Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the administration of operations and making substantial contributions to the development, execution, and management of company policies and business objectives. This role involves organizing, planning, directing, and controlling all operational functions. The supervisor will evaluate and appraise the performance of subordinate managers, ensuring that services are delivered professionally and that customers receive exceptional service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess operational efficiency through analysis of departmental activities, on-site evaluations, and other measurable indicators. Provide timely updates to management. 10%
- Coordinate various operational functions. 10%
- Collaborate with the management team to devise and implement strategies for the operational framework of systems, processes, and personnel, aimed at advancing the strategic goals of the organization. 5%
- Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, enhancements, and compliance with legal standards. 10%
- Coordinate the formulation, communication, and execution of effective growth strategies to achieve and exceed sales, profitability, and business objectives. 5%

- Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as applicable to the location. 10%
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all company policies. 5%
- Perform other relevant job duties as required.
Education/Certifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- HACCP & SQF certification preferred.
- Understanding of Profit and Loss statements, accounting, human resources, purchasing, facilities, security, and quality control procedures and programs.
- Familiarity with related legal and regulatory requirements such as OSHA, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Knowledge of budgeting, supply contracts, and shipping requirements.
- Awareness of corporate compliance, ethics policies, and code of conduct.
- Understanding of inventory control and management procedures.
- A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Solid leadership qualities and decision-making skills.
- Well-organized with the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
