Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - PACU will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • 1 year of experience in acute care, preferably in a PACU or critical care setting.
  • ACLS certification and BLS certification required.
  • Nurse specialty certification preferred.
