Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for the Cardiac Stepdown patient care area.
- Develop and implement a plan for delivering individualized goal-directed nursing care.
- Delegate tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Review budget and maintain operating expenses at target levels.
- Promote involvement in health promotion, educational community activities, and lifelong learning.
- 2 years of recent acute care critical care leadership experience required.
- BSN required; MSN or Master's Degree in related field preferred.
- Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
- National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
- BLS/ACLS as required.
