Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, the Cage Cashier operates under the guidance of the Cage Supervisors, ensuring the security and management of company funds. This role involves executing a high volume of cash and non-cash transactions for both guests and internal clients with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the imprest bank during guest and internal monetary transactions.
  • Balance and distribute imprest banks to Food & Beverage and Hotel staff.
  • Accurately log patron transactions into the company’s computer system.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and balance sheets in compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
  • Facilitate the transfer of cash, chips, and checks between cages and departments efficiently.
  • Support the Kiosk bank by replenishing kiosks located on the casino floor.
  • Assist in troubleshooting Kiosk machines for the Slots department.
  • Adhere strictly to departmental policies to uphold the integrity of the Cage operations.
  • Engage in daily cage reconciliation by applying accurate transaction practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Title 31 regulations.
  • Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service by reporting concerns to management.
  • Foster positive relations with the public and team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate actions that align with the Company’s Mission and Values.
  • Report any illegal activities or ethical violations promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six months of cash handling experience.
  • Experience in cage operations is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Certificate of Eligibility from Gaming Enforcement or be able to obtain one.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication, are required.
