Job Summary

Responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic MRI studies in a safe and efficient environment, while delivering exceptional customer service to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans with precision and accuracy
  • Screen patients and others entering the MRI area to ensure a safe environment
  • Send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Update patient information in Resurgens' computer system(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MRI management
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT registered in good standing
  • Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent patient care skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. The employee may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift, push and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Privacy & Security Awareness

While performing the duties of this job, it is imperative that the employee remain aware of Resurgens policies, Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures for minimizing threats and ensuring protection of PHI. The success of HIPAA policies and procedures is dependent upon the awareness and buy-in of everyone involved in daily healthcare operations, including reporting incidents to their supervisor or directly to the HIPAA leadership.
