Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal condition of our premises at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include:

  • Maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the property through comprehensive lawn care, landscaping, and driveway upkeep.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of all facilities, both interior and exterior.
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Conducting repairs on business equipment as directed by management.
  • Managing the upkeep of HVAC systems, grooming dryers, washing machines, and other essential appliances.
  • Performing tasks such as mowing, cleaning, painting, snow and leaf removal, and fence repairs.
  • Executing minor repairs within the facility, including lighting, painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
  • Assisting team members with cleaning or other necessary duties within the facility.
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficient knowledge and skills in facility and grounds maintenance.
  • The ability to evaluate and prioritize work requests to create an effective daily schedule.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
  • Capability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor.
  • Familiarity with the maintenance of small machinery.
  • The ability to work independently on assigned projects while also being receptive to guidance.
  • Strong comprehension of both oral and written instructions.
  • Basic computer literacy.
