Job Summary

SOSi is seeking a highly skilled Managed Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network architecture, including site surveys, system evaluation, and infrastructure assessment.
  • System Administration: Perform duties on tasks in software applications, system/processor architecture, wired for management baseline, desktop management interface, SNMP, client/server architecture, operating systems, network protocols, routers, switches, remote access servers, and firewalls.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, maintaining current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications.
  • Project Participation: Participate in special projects as required, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Clearance: An active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
  • Education and Experience: MA/MS +8, OR BA/BS +10, OR AA/AS +12, OR HS Diploma +15 years of experience managing organizations similar in size, scope, and complexity.
  • Certifications: Must meet DoD 8140 DCWF 632 requirements (B.S. or SSCP), CompTia Security+ CE certification.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with occasional non-traditional working hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • ITIL 4 certification
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
