At General Dynamics Information Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled NETMAN Engineer to join our team. As a NETMAN Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation's information systems.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented NETMAN Engineer to provide sustainment support of the Army's network management and network common operational picture capability. The successful candidate will assist the Government in assessing client requirements and defining proper design, configuration, integration testing, and implementation of all components of the Digital Experience Network Operations (DXNetOps) capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sustainment support of the Army's network management and network common operational picture capability.
  • Assist the Government in assessing client requirements and defining proper design, configuration, integration testing, and implementation of all components of the DXNetOps capability.
  • Integrate Broadcom/Computing Associates products with other technologies present in the network in support of an integrated solution within LWN/Army DoDIN, Army Management Network, Software Defined Networking, Amazon and Army Cloud network and NETOPs tools capabilities.
  • Support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
  • Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
  • Provide design, development, engineering, integration, and technical support to the ADCNOMS project.
  • Attend customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the task order requirements, their responsibilities, and the ability, knowledge, experience, and skills to carry-out those requirements and responsibilities.
  • Have a current understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
  • Understand DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policies, including DoD Instruction, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.
Requirements:
  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience, DoD M certification: IAT Level III Certification.
  • Required Experience: 5 years of experience in Information Technology field.
  • Required Technical Skills: Computing Environment Certification (RHCSA and MCSA or TCSP).
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Location: On-Site, must be within two-hour distance from Fort Huachuca, AZ.
  • Windows Server 2008/2012/Window Desktop Operating System/Linux Operating System Administrator (SA).
  • SQL/XSQL Server Administrator (SA).
  • MS SQL 2005/MS SQL 2008 / Linux XSQL Database Administrator (DBA) and SQL/XSQL Reporting.
  • MAC O/S and security.
  • Active Directory and Directory Services.
  • Intermediate Network Management.
  • Microsoft Virtualization VMware Virtualization HP hardware.
  • Dell hardware.
  • Red Hat Linux System Administration (SA) and Engineering.
