Safety Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at Randstad. As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) program and Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all process safety information and other documentation necessary to conduct PHAs or PHA revalidations
  • Maintain and update Plant Risk Management Plan (RMP)
  • Coordinate submittal of plan updates with the EPA and local governmental agencies
  • Develop PSM procedures, maintain existing procedures, and ensure their appropriate use at the plant
  • Lead PHA or PHA revalidation sessions for the plant
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of PSM and RMP requirements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
