Position Summary: The University of California, San Francisco, in collaboration with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Neonatal Hospitalist within the Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics.
This role encompasses responsibilities at a leading academic medical institution with a focus on both clinical excellence and educational contributions. The selected individuals will be involved in patient care at the highest level of neonatal intensive care, while also engaging in academic activities that align with their professional interests.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care for patients in a level IV neonatal intensive care unit.
- Participate in the management of both high and lower acuity cases, including neonatal resuscitation.
- Engage in clinical teaching and resident education.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
Applicants must possess a medical degree and a valid medical license, along with board eligibility or certification in pediatrics. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to academic pediatrics are highly valued.
Compensation:The salary structure is based on rank and experience, with minimum base salaries ranging from $104,800 to $320,100 for full-time positions. Additional compensation opportunities are available for eligible faculty members.
