In this role, you will be responsible for providing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to identify and assist in mitigating obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems. You will perform market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts, and provide obsolescence research to work with government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers to verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide DMSMS support to identify and mitigate obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems
* Perform market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts
* Provide obsolescence research to work with government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers
* Support the procurement, receipt, and storage of parts to ensure continued system supportability
* Maintain a database of DMSMS information

Requirements:

* High school/vocational school or BS/BA degree in any field
* 3+ years equivalent relevant work experience
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Desired Skills:

* Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence
* DoD SD-22 guidebook knowledge
* Experience in working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement

Security Clearance:

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
