This position is primarily remote but requires travel to customer sites and occasional work from a home office. Candidates must be prepared to travel for onsite customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master the execution of timely and accurate Preventative Maintenance.
  • Support experienced field engineers in equipment installation tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repair requirements for designated equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and work in partnership with team members and colleagues.
  • Develop skills to engage with customers to ensure issues are resolved and follow-ups are conducted, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with customers to recommend value-added services that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date administrative responsibilities, including customer service logs and internal service records, timely ordering of repair parts, and managing cycle times.
  • Utilize the escalation process as necessary and work closely with regional and national support teams to define and implement corrective action plans for timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Actively participate as a member of the account community for key accounts.
  • Engage with commercial counterparts to identify potential sales leads, participate in contract renewals, and assist in promoting and implementing revenue initiatives.
  • Focus on customer needs and satisfaction while fostering and enhancing the relationship with customers to become a trusted partner in their business.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
  • Proficiency with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
  • The successful candidate must pass a standard background check, including a post-offer drug test. Additionally, during employment, compliance with all customer access policies is required, including obtaining and/or providing proof of necessary immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods. Candidates must also be able to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and possess good hand and finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required may include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to be available for after-hours work or participate in a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage as needed.

  • Willingness to travel up to 35%, which may include overnight stays.
