About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Rheumatology Physician to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a member of our medical group, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to children with rheumatic diseases, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with rheumatic diseases, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay current with industry developments, attending conferences, workshops, and other educational events to maintain expertise and stay informed about the latest treatments and technologies.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology or eligibility for certification.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
