Radiologic Imaging Specialist

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at MT SAN RAFAEL HOSPITAL, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuming direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the radiologist or department director
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Performing x-ray examinations, CT scans, and mammogram examinations
- Maintaining an active continuing education program to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver age-appropriate care and meet the needs of diverse patient populations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiological technology
- Successful completion of registry examination
- One year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Physical and mental demands of the job include:
- Continuous movement throughout the hospital
- Continuous standing
- Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting
- Ability to lift up to 30% of body weight
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact with patients, families, and staff in a professional manner in stressful situations
