Radiologic Imaging Specialist

At MT SAN RAFAEL HOSPITAL, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing x-ray examinations with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the radiologist or department director.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform x-ray examinations with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Maintain an active continuing education program to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiological technology.
- Successful completion of registry examination.
- One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist.
- Minimal Certified (ARRT) (R).
- Prefer ARRT (R) (CT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS strongly encouraged.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Continuous movement throughout the hospital.
- Continuous standing.
- Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
- Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weight.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact with patients, families, and staff in a professional manner in stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature.
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
