Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. As a Press Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe delivery of quality products at a competitive cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure personal compliance with all company policies, procedures, and practices, including Safety and complete required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain communication within production team members to ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Identify and ensure that proper materials are used for production.
  • Clean the machines daily and organize machine and material parts during closing operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
  • Ensure the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
  • Ability to perform changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare equipment for the next run to include size changes as needed.
  • Complete required paperwork and checklists as required.
Requirements
  • Possess and foster a positive attitude of learning and respect.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
  • Ability to take ownership of work and also work as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal communications skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Visual acuity to color consistency.
  • Manual coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Manual coordination and dexterity while utilizing hand tools, cleaning equipment.
  • Be able to work safely around operating machinery.
Experience and Education
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be flexible in work schedule. Willing to work overtime, based on business need.
