Join Conair's Legal Department as a Trademark Paralegal and be part of a team that drives innovation through intellectual property protection.
As a Trademark Paralegal, you will work under the supervision of the Chief Trademark Counsel and collaborate with personnel across the globe. Your responsibilities will include conducting preliminary US and international screening searches using Saegis software, analyzing search results, and drafting analyses thereof.
You will also be responsible for preparing electronic filings for trademark applications and other trademark-related maintenance filings with the USPTO, as well as coordinating with foreign counsel on foreign applications and related maintenance filings.
Additionally, you will assist the Chief Trademark Counsel and Chief Patent Counsel with anti-counterfeiting matters, including online brand protection, global customs recordals, and coordinating attorney/law enforcement trainings.
Key qualifications include a minimum of 3+ years of experience in trademark searching, clearance, filings, prosecution, and docketing, as well as proficiency in Saegis, PATTSY, and USPTO trademark website platform.
