About the Role:

Mead & Hunt, a leading professional services consulting firm, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical/Utilities Engineer, you will play a key role in conducting site surveys, developing project documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys of food and beverage plants and utility systems
  • Develop project documentation, including drawings, P&IDs, and equipment schedules
  • Select and apply system equipment to new and existing systems
  • Coordinate technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with suppliers and clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or higher
  • At least five years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • PE license in any state, with ability to obtain in other states

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with food plant projects
  • HVAC experience
  • Experience developing P&IDs for food and/or industrial projects
  • Chilled water/hydronic design experience
  • Familiarity with managing project invoices
