Doherty Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing firm. We are in search of qualified individuals for Machine Operator positions across various shifts. The compensation for this direct hire position ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:
- Collaborate with a team to enhance manufacturing efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
- Perform quality assessments to verify that products meet specified dimensions and maintain zero material defects.
- Address and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
- Accurately and efficiently operate all die-cutting, folding, and gluing machinery in accordance with job specifications.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery, including lubrication, small parts replacement, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Cross-train on additional equipment to provide coverage during peak workloads and assist in training others on die-cutting, folding, and gluing machinery.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating die-cut and folder/gluer machinery, specifically on Moll Regal Folder/Gluer and Moll Flex cut 760 or equivalent equipment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with fellow production staff on a daily basis.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to comprehend both written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, employing an analytical approach to problem resolution.
