Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Emergency Department team at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Treat patients with complex presentations and difficult diagnoses, utilizing advanced assessment and treatment skills.
  • Participate in shift coverage, including weekends, and work a 12-hour schedule from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in Emergency Medicine.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Minnesota.
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an APP in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
