Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Penn Medicine. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, taking into account anatomical and physiological considerations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
  • Current licensure in Diagnostic Radiography from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or American Medical Association (AMA) accredited radiology program.
  • One year of hospital experience in radiography or a related field.
