SAIC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Program Control Analyst to join our Army Business Group.

This role demands a solid background in project management and financial oversight, particularly in the realm of Federal contracting. Familiarity with various contract types (such as CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.) is essential, as is experience in financial planning and analysis.

This position is fully remote and available nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with program managers and various internal departments, including finance, accounting, contracts, and procurement, as well as external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
  • Prepare financial reports and deliverables, including Annual Operating Plans (AOP), forecasts, monthly latest revised estimates (LREs), and Estimates-At-Complete (EACs).
  • Assist in the formulation of budgets for assigned programs and conduct financial analyses on funding profiles and variances.
  • Perform cost, schedule, and contract performance variance assessments.
  • Manage purchase requisitions for subcontractors and materials, overseeing subcontractor costs and approving invoices.
  • Review and validate customer invoice documentation.
  • Support Request for Proposals (RFPs) by preparing pricing models and conducting cost analyses.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the program lifecycle from proposal development to contract closure.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Federal government contracting.
  • Experience in providing financial tracking and support in areas such as Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of corporate business practices, government contracting regulations, and finance principles.
  • Thorough understanding of financial analysis, including ROS, ROC, annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue & profit forecasts, as well as program baseline data preparation and EAC development.
  • Ability to make informed decisions while adhering to policies and accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently, demonstrating persistence in follow-through.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Costpoint and Cognos.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
