Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at HandCraft Services in High Point, NC.
Job Summary:The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring textiles meet or exceed established quality levels, minimizing textile losses, and maintaining compliance with TRSA Hygienically Clean and other quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct textile testing, including new product spec testing, circulating linen spot checks, and vendor assurance spot checks.
- Monitor wash systems for proper function and operation, and perform regular checks of soiled load weights and soil factors.
- Support proper washroom chemistry through regular titration checks.
- Collect, verify, and dispose of regulated waste, and maintain accurate records.
- Collect data from the QC department and enter information into the system.
- Perform microbiological testing, including collection of water, air, surface, and textile samples.
- Monitor effluent discharge, including daily sampling of pH, TDS, and temperature.
- Audit compliance with TRSA and other regulatory standards.
- Understanding of basic chemistry principles, including pH, water hardness, and titration.
- Ability to learn and use LinenMaster, Microsoft Office Suite, and E-Tech software.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, writing, communication, and people skills.
- Ability to familiarize all products.
- Ability to withstand walking, standing, and climbing stairs, pushing and pulling full carts of linen, and performing repetitive motions.
