Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer/Health Physicist to join our team at the United States Fleet Forces Command. As a key member of our Laboratory and Environmental Sciences Branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and health of our personnel and the public.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nuclear engineering and health physics, with experience in developing and implementing radiation safety programs. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations and analyses of instrumentation, as well as performing quality assurance assessments to ensure the accuracy of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation safety programs
  • Conduct evaluations and analyses of instrumentation

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in nuclear engineering and health physics
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
