The Role

We are seeking a skilled Program Facilitator to lead groups of students through structured games based on our curriculum. The ideal candidate will engage students in sports, games, and other activities, while supporting their behavioral management needs. This role requires collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and fellow coaches to ensure seamless execution of outdoor lessons designed to increase excitement about learning.

As a positive role model, you will build kids' self-esteem and emotional wellness by presenting yourself as a confident leader and role model. You will connect with students, foster positive learning experiences, and pay close attention to their needs to adjust activities accordingly.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience working with elementary and/or middle school kids. You should be able to confidently manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance, improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed. You must be approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.

Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without an accommodation:

  • Ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently.
  • Sitting, standing, for long periods.
  • Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity.
  • Ability to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrain regularly.
