Position Overview: Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer position focuses on comprehending, defining, documenting, and enhancing manufacturing processes and parameters while ensuring that production equipment adheres to safety regulations. This role is suited for an innovative thinker who can creatively outline the necessary steps to achieve set objectives. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate across various internal departments including Sales, R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Plant Engineering, Maintenance, and Customer Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document current manufacturing workflows
  • Support the development of processes for new product lines
  • Diagnose and refine manufacturing operations
  • Draft work instructions for production
  • Engage with operators to enhance processes
  • Oversee the Quality Management System
  • Compile product and process documentation
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping
  • Perform additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Chemical)
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Technical expertise in Pumps, Mixing Equipment, and Filtration systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with Chemical Handling or Thermal Drying processes
  • Background in LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Project Management capabilities
