REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- Preferred: Certification in Orthopedic Technician training from a recognized technical institution or community college OR equivalent experience with necessary certification (NBCOT)
- Mandatory: Certification from the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists (NBCOT) within two years of employment
- Ability to describe orthopedic conditions based on anatomical knowledge
- Proficient in applying and removing casts and splints for upper and lower extremities
- Capability to perform effectively in high-pressure or emergency scenarios
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient care
- Understanding of safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

ROLE SUMMARY
