About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Dispatch Coordinator to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient dispatching and scheduling of our field technicians.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the daily work orders for repairs, ensuring that the scope of work and time requirements are well-communicated to the technicians. You will also be responsible for managing prioritization of repairs, optimizing technician-assigned routes to align with job requirements, and partnering with the Service Manager & Service Operations Lead to prepare a bi-weekly technician schedule.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will be responsible for proactively distributing work orders for jobs daily, adhering to scheduling guidelines and work order priority to manage the schedule, and assisting with the management and recording of non-productive technician time. You will also support the accounts receivable team with the reconciliation of past-due invoices and reconcile technician expenses with work orders after project completion.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of our service operations processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch technician daily work orders for repairs
  • Manage prioritization of repairs and optimize technician-assigned routes

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of Basic Computer Skills
  • 3+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant HVAC service industry experience preferred
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP
  • Experience dispatching and scheduling technicians
