Job Summary

Astropak Corporation is seeking a skilled Senior Field Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for performing entry-level field services duties to gain knowledge and understanding of cleaning and passivation of vessels and piping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, connect, and set up operation for Astropak equipment to customer systems to execute chemical cleaning processes while wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Load/Unload vehicles with proper equipment/chemicals for specific job assignments.
  • Ability to drive Astropak vehicles, including Forklift, Trucks, Sprinter Vans, etc.
  • Works with various chemicals, including but not limited to: citric, caustic, and other hazardous chemicals.
  • Extensive overnight travel (>80%) by land and/or air.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Complete all required Safety Training, including OSHA Certification.
  • Competence to comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Maintains work area clean to CEO (Clean, Efficient, Organized)/5S Standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) strongly preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • Possess a valid Medical DOT Certificate.
  • Technical training or AA degree preferred.
  • HAZWOPER, OSHA, Confined Space Certifications are preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Will be exposed to dust, fume, smoke, toxic chemicals, and disagreeable odors.
  • Noisy conditions periodically.
  • Wet or humid conditions (indoors).
  • Working on ladders, rooftops, bucket trucks, scaffolding, etc.
  • Exposed to vibration (i.e., operating jackhammer, impact wrench).
  • Periodically improperly illuminated or awkward and confining workspace.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
