Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time specialist in Adult Outpatient Psychiatry to join our esteemed Largo medical center.

Incentives: Eligible candidates may receive a $200,000 forgivable loan or $150,000 in student loan repayment as part of our new hire incentives.

In partnership with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we ensure our physicians have access to advanced technology and comprehensive support, allowing for a high-quality, patient-centered healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday through Friday, supported by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, advanced practice nurses, and clinical pharmacists.
  2. Utilize EPIC EMR for documenting patient visit notes within an integrated medical information system.
  3. Provide care to patients both in-clinic and through telehealth options (hybrid schedule).
  4. No inpatient rounding required.
  5. Allocate 20% of daily work time to electronic patient care management.
  6. Must possess an MD or DO degree.
  7. Board Certification or Eligibility is required.
  8. Must be currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
  9. Work visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
