The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a highly skilled Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at our Largo medical center. As a specialist in adult outpatient psychiatry, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, advanced practice nurses, and clinical pharmacists providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric care for patients in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday through Friday, with a hybrid schedule that includes video and phone consultations.
- Document visit notes in our integrated medical information system, EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Manage electronic patient care management, allocating 20% of daily work time to this critical aspect of patient care.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
- Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Work visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants.
- Competitive compensation package, including a starting annual salary of $350,000, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
