Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing services, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
  • Execute procedures as directed by medical providers.
  • Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
