Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients with neurological conditions in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Care:
    • Conduct thorough neurological assessments and monitor vital signs to identify potential issues.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Medication Administration and Monitoring:
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for side effects and therapeutic responses.
    • Use advanced monitoring equipment to track neurological status and overall health, recognizing and acting on signs of deterioration.
  • Patient Education and Support:
    • Provide education to patients and families about neurological disorders, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
  • Documentation and Communication:
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses in real-time.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Crisis Management and Intervention:
    • Respond to emergencies, including seizures or changes in consciousness, implementing life-saving interventions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.
