Job Summary:We are seeking a travel nurse ICU specialist to work in a 8-bed Neuro unit with a Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience in Neuro ICU and/or Med/Surg ICU, with strong assessment skills in Neuro. The travel nurse ICU specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in Neuro ICU care
- WI license
- Minimum 2 years experience, minimal with 1 travel assignment preferred
- Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro
- BLS and ACLS certification
- NIHSS preferred
- Epic charting experience
