Job Summary

Reporting to the Section Leader of Nuclear Medicine, provides direct care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers high-quality patient care in a nuclear medicine setting.
  • Operates and maintains nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals and performs imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Science or certificate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine, with a strong preference for those with prior experience.
  • Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification.
  • Registration as R.T.(N)(ARRT) or CNMT within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of state radiation guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficiency in IV skills and computer systems, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
  • Ability to maintain confidential patient information.
