As a Safety Ambassador with SMS Holdings, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for downtown workers, residents, and visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to patrol the city on bike, serving as a deterrent to unwanted activity and providing information, assistance, and directions to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned zones to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or criminal activity to local authorities.
  • Address low-level quality of life crimes, such as aggressive panhandling, loitering, and disruptive behavior, in a firm and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging pedestrians with a friendly greeting and offering directions, information, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with district businesses to share information and promote the customer's interests.
  • Prepare and submit written reports on incidents and property conditions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional environment, adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
