Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting students' communication needs and enhancing their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Maintain valid Maine Certification (#293).
2) Hold a current Maine Licensure as a Speech Pathologist, including a Criminal History Record Check.
3) Demonstrate prior experience in the field.
4) Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments.
5) Develop and implement tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
6) Facilitate social skills groups to foster interpersonal communication.
7) Craft social stories to aid student understanding and engagement.
8) Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support student growth.
9) Utilize Assistive Technology, including the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
10) Implement Augmentative Communication strategies as needed.
11) Complete MaineCare third-party billing accurately.
