As a Speech Language Pathologist and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist, you'll conduct AAC evaluations, complete essential funding packets for insurance, and engage in vital consultations with students and school teams.

What we're looking for in a Speech Language Pathologist and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist:

  • A Master's degree in speech-language pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
  • Proficiency in implementing AAC strategies in diverse settings, ensuring effective communication for children.
  • Skills in completing comprehensive reports for funding and training adults as communication partners.
  • An SLP license for the state of Maine or the ability to acquire one.
