About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Deli Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our deli department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality deli products, including meats, cheeses, and specialty items
  • Provide expert knowledge and recommendations to customers on our deli products and services
  • Assist with deli department operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Work collaboratively with the deli team to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in the food industry a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
