Job Summary

Vee-Jay Cement Contracting Co. Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Material & Equipment Manager to oversee the procurement, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment for our concrete contracting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and manage the inventory of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and optimal utilization.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to minimize losses and maximize equipment utilization.
  • Collaborate with the cost team to ensure accurate and timely billing for equipment and tools.
  • Supervise and mentor yard personnel to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly inventory reports to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, and equipment control.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
