Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sanitation Worker to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our sanitation department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by performing various tasks related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machinery, and production areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and production areas to meet cleanliness standards
  • Disassemble and reassemble food-processing equipment as needed
  • Evaluate sanitation effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
  • Handle chemical cleaning agents safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sanitation goals
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with lock out tag out procedures
  • Previous experience in similar roles and a strong understanding of food safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
