Phlebotomist I Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Dover Foxcroft, ME. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This is a Monday-Friday position with rotational weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting
  • Administer oral solutions as required
  • Verify patient information and test orders
  • Process specimens for transport
  • Perform non-patient facing duties, including inventory and sanitizing
  • Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred
  • One year phlebotomy experience preferred
