Job Title: Dentist - SCI Greene

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our team at SCI Greene. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our inmate population.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dentistry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for conducting dental exams, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries. You will also be responsible for supervising the daily work of the institution's dental staff and ensuring that adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control are carried out within the dental office.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct dental exams and diagnose oral diseases
  • Treat injuries and provide basic dental care
  • Supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff
  • Ensure adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control within the dental office
  • Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved school of dentistry
  • Possession of a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry
  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
