Job Description
In this role, you will work directly with production teams to provide oversight and perform required inspections on mechanical, electrical or structural components or systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring conformance with quality requirements in support of ship construction, overhaul, refueling and repair contracts. You will also report nonconformities to the Quality Manager and provide on-the-job training to production teams as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of additional education and/or related experience. Prior quality inspection experience is preferred. Familiarization with overseeing and following procedures is also essential. Bonus points are awarded for knowledge of NAVSEA standard items, experience maintaining and tracking OQE, prior shipboard experience, NDT/Welding/Electrical experience and experience conducting training.
