As a Quality Inspector 2 at Huntington Ingalls Industries, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our shipbuilding process. **About the Role:**

This position is responsible for conducting inspections on mechanical, electrical, or structural components or systems to ensure conformance with quality requirements. You will work closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues, determine measuring equipment used, and provide on-the-job training as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Identify and address quality issues with production teams
  • Determine measuring equipment used and ensure its accuracy
  • Provide on-the-job training to production teams as needed

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior quality inspection experience and familiarity with overseeing procedures
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA standard items and OQE (Objective Quality Evidence)
